RIVER DAM OF GENISSIAT

Departing from the Aqualoisirs base in Seyssel, go back up the Rhone to the river dam of Genissiat (one of the oldest and most majestic river dam of the Rhone). To join it, you will pass by the cheese cellar of Pyrimont Comté (ancient stone quarries of Seyssel).

After a little break at the Pain de Sucre waterfall (Surjoux), you will bring back down and discover the hamlet of Dorche and its mills, Eilloux and its vines, and will finish at Seyssel with its river dam and its quay (last memory of the river trade which has existed during the XIX century)
